Métisse Consulting offers sales consulting, structured account planning and project management services for the Southern African ITC & Telecommunications industry. Servicing both global and local organisations, we offer a range of services tailored to your customer’s needs, with the ultimate goal of increasing business performance through increased customer relevancy. Our focus is in Enterprise, Public Sector, and Service Provider markets, including the verticals segments of Banking & Financial Services, Oil & Gas, Mining, Manufacturing, and Retail.  We are based in South Africa and can deliver services both locally and globally into Africa, ME & Europe.

Nick Harris is the Owner and Director of Métisse Consulting.  He is a seasoned corporate sales leader with 28 years technical sales experience, and has spent 10 years managing teams across the Africa Region including South Africa, Nigeria, Angola, East Africa, Zimbabwe, Namibia & Emerging Africa. The previous 10 years were served with Cisco UK as a Regional Sales manager running Enterprise Sales Teams, Global Account Manager and Account Manager.

Nick was instrumental in the creation of new markets for Cisco into the South Africa & Africa region, as well as the delivery of globally proven sales models leading to deep and business-relevant customer relationships. His focus in Africa was on direct engagement into the Key Enterprise and Global markets in the Oil & Gas, Financial Services, Automotive, Retail and Mining verticals, and collaborating with the channel, service provider and distribution channels. He also spent 2 years running a telecommunications company serving the African Service Provider markets.

Previous to his IT career, Nick worked in the Building and Construction Industry, delivering “Intelligent Building Control” projects as a commercial manager. He managed teams of project managers to deliver multi-million dollar turn key projects.

Nick is Degree Qualified in Mechanical and Production Engineering that he completed at Liverpool University, following a 4 year engineering apprentice also served in the UK where he qualified as a design engineer.
